​Former Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp has signed a contract with the German Football Association (DFB).

​Operativ Media reports, citing insider Fabrizio Romano. According to claims, the 59-year-old specialist will lead the Germany national team until 2030. His appointment is expected to be officially announced on Friday, July 24.

​As a reminder, the German Football Association announced on July 3 that Julian Nagelsmann, who had been managing the team since 2023, was dismissed. Under his leadership, the Germany national team was eliminated in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup after losing to Paraguay in a penalty shootout (1-1, 3-4 on penalties).

​As is known, in addition to Liverpool, Klopp previously served as head coach at Borussia Dortmund and Mainz.
